Speciality Dance: Orfeo Fans

"The Dance of the Fans" blends elements of Spanish and Asian dance.

At first accompanied by Flamenco guitar, then by haunting oriental music the fan unfolds, becoming a work of art in the hands of the dancer. Not only part of a dance, the elegant fan is juggled with amazing ease and skill to virtuoso violin music.
A second fan appears out of thin air...the two fans melt together like fluttering butterflies, constantly changing form and creating images.
