Tengu Daiko: European formation of 8 enthusiastic students of Japanology, fascinated by the sound and sight of the Taiko, Japanese Drum. A Tengu is a Japanese mystic creature with a long nose, and the first Europeans were called 'Tengu' by the Japanese! This bunch of longnoses is inspired by famous Japanese Taiko groups like Yamato and Kodo, and succeeds in filling their audiences with enthusiasm for their show of thundering precision and amazing choreography.
The group is based in Hamburg, Germany, but has already performed in Sweden, Switzerland and Italy as well.
